1. Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Ascorbic acid is a powerful ingredient which is known to even skin tone, brighten the skin, contain anti-oxidants, promote collagen production, prevent hyperpigmentation and protect against UV damage. Vitamin C is commonly employed in a skin care routine in order to boost complexion, whilst also preventing premature signs of ageing.

2. Vitamin E

Despite Vitamin E primarily being know for its excellent anti-oxidant properties, it is also well-absorbed through the skin, demonstrating a strong affinity with small blood vessels and an ability to enhance blood circulation in the skin. It is also thought to improve the skin’s water-binding ability & to reduce skin water loss, thereby improving the appearance of rough, dry, and damaged skin.

3. Kakadu Plum Extract

Kakadu Plum is a native tree from Australia which is found exclusively in the Northern Territory and around Arnhem Land and the Kimberly Region. The Kakadu Plum fruit has the highest known Vitamin C concentration of any single natural food source in the world. First Nations People have used this plant and its fruit extensively for food as well as for its traditional healing properties. It is known to have ten times the amount of Vitamin C found in other fruits, making it an excellent antioxidant to include in your cosmetic manufacturing needs.

4. Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract)

An extract is used internationally in Cosmetics, as it is a rich source of anti oxidants, such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Green tea extract is hailed in the Natural Skin Care Industry. Green tea extract is said to help repair the effects of aging and environmental factors. The active constituents in green tea are the Catechin - Polyphenols. Green tea catechins are potent antioxidants.
